For the 2026/2027 admission exercise, JAMB has approved 150 as the national minimum acceptable score for admission into universities. However, this is only the minimum benchmark, and universities are allowed to set higher requirements for their programmes.
Law is a competitive course, so candidates should not aim for the 150 minimum. A score of 250 and above is a good target if you want to study Law, especially where the university uses a higher departmental or screening benchmark.
